King Prawn Fried Rice

Make the most of your leftover rice with this easy to follow king prawn fried rice recipe. If you don’t have any leftover rice, you can always cook some fresh rice for this dish. Make it taste amazing with some scrambled eggs and mixed vegetables.

A busy day at work should not stop you from enjoying a great meal that is simple to assemble. Homemade fried rice is great because you can add all of your favourite ingredients without paying anything extra. This recipe is a perfect lunch or dinner meal to share between four people; if you’re cooking for six or more people, you can simply increase the ingredients.

I have tried and tested many versions of fried rice, and discovered that the trick to creating a perfect fried rice is that the rice should be cool and not sticky. What you add to your rice should be based on personal preference – I like to add chilli to my rice for extra flavour. Perhaps you may want to leave out the chilli completely, or even increase the heat! With this fried rice recipe, customisation is entirely up to you.
